DAEMONCORE ACADEMY PRIVACY POLICY

DaemonCore Academy is designed to operate primarily as a local desktop training environment. We do not collect personal information simply because you install or launch the desktop application.

When you voluntarily interact with online DaemonCore services, certain information may be processed as necessary to provide those services. This may include information you provide directly, such as an email address, account information, support communications, or information associated with features you choose to use.

Our websites and infrastructure may also receive ordinary technical information associated with internet communications, such as IP addresses, browser or device information, timestamps, and server request logs.

DaemonCore Academy provides hands-on cybersecurity training environments, including local and isolated lab environments.

Training activity performed within local lab environments may generate files, logs, command output, progress information, configuration data, and other training artifacts on your computer. Local training information is not automatically transmitted to DaemonCore merely because you perform an exercise.

DaemonCore Academy may interact with local system resources, processes, files, Docker environments, and bundled application resources when necessary to provide its training functionality.

Information that is provided to or processed by DaemonCore may be used to operate and maintain our services, provide requested functionality, respond to support requests, maintain security and prevent abuse, diagnose technical problems, and improve the reliability of DaemonCore Academy.

DaemonCore Academy is intended for authorized cybersecurity education and training. Exercises may involve simulated systems, network traffic, security events, commands, evidence, logs, and other technical information.

Some DaemonCore services may rely on third-party infrastructure or services for functions such as application distribution, hosting, authentication, communications, or other operational requirements.

Information processed by a third-party service may also be subject to that provider's privacy practices.

Information processed by DaemonCore is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to operate our services, satisfy legitimate security requirements, or comply with applicable legal obligations.

Locally stored DaemonCore Academy data remains subject to the user's control and the normal storage and deletion behavior of the application and operating system.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information processed through DaemonCore services. However, no software, computer system, or internet transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

DaemonCore Academy is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable privacy laws. If we learn that personal information from a child has been collected where parental consent or another legal basis was required, we will take appropriate steps to address it.

You may choose not to provide optional personal information to DaemonCore. Certain online or account-based features may not function if information necessary to provide those features is not supplied.
